Buy Directly From Farmers (BDFF) is a group dedicated to Taiwanese farmers since 2010 and officially registered as a social enterprise in 2014. It aims to build a harmonious relationship between city and countryside and to let people understand how lifestyle and eating habits impact the environment and how food is grown. Its product standards emphasize pesticide-free or reduced-pesticide farming, whole and seasonal local foods, and transparency about origin, producer, and farming method. It also operates a planned-support section where consumers can pre-order farmers' produce.
