History
According to the official website, after 1970 and the acquisition of the brasserie des carrières by the brasserie du progrès, the village of Écaussinnes no longer had beer production. In 2012, two enthusiasts decided to invest in the former brasserie d'Écaussinnes with the objective of relaunching beer production in the village. Work was undertaken to modernize the production and image of the brewery. In 2014, a new team was put in place, bringing a young and modern dynamic. In 2015, the brewery launched its revolution. The brewery created the 1830 range in honor of the Walloon volunteers who marched on Brussels in 1830 and participated in the revolution that gave birth to the Belgian state.
