Border Brewing Company was founded in 2015 by Eric Martens, a chemical engineer who started homebrewing on weekends. The brewery opened its doors on 18th Street in Kansas City. In 2018, Strawberry Blonde became a flagship, and in 2021, Lima Fresca was introduced. In 2024, Easy Landing IPA joined the rotation.
