Booking Machine

Booking Machine is a Russian concert booking agency and record label founded in 2009 by Ilya Mamay. It positions itself as a "new-type association" and has representative offices in Russia, the United Kingdom, Belarus and Ukraine. Initially the agency specialized in organizing concerts for metal artists, and over time it expanded into hip-hop and other genres. In 2013 and 2014 the agency organized concert meetings for Versus Battle. In 2017 the Russian hip-hop artist Oxxxymiron took over as executive director, and from that year the company also became active as a record label. Artists who joined the label in 2017 included rappers Markul, Jeembo, TVETH and Thomas Mraz; in 2018 the roster grew with Loqiemean, May Wave$ and Souloud. The company is closely associated with the Booking Machine Festival. On 9 August 2018 the label released the music video "Konstrukt", featuring all members of the label, and on 25 August 2018 the first Booking Machine Festival was held in Kolomenskoye Park. On 24 August 2019 the second Booking Machine Festival took place in Izmailovsky Park in Moscow to mark the company's tenth anniversary, with two stages and an expanded area. On the same day Oxxxymiron announced his departure both as CEO of the booking agency and as a solo artist. On 6 March 2020 the departure of four artists (Jeembo, TVETH, Thomas Mraz and Markul) was announced, along with the end of Booking Machine's activity as a creative association. As a booking agency, Booking Machine has represented both Russian and foreign artists. Current acts have included Slaughter to Prevail, Dub FX and TR/ST. Former members include Oxxxymiron, Porchy, Markul, Thomas Mraz, Jeembo, TVETH, Loqiemean, May Wave$, Souloud, IDAN, КУОК, Луперкаль, Гарри Топор, Тони Раут, Проект Увечье, Wildways, Shokran, dom!No, ЛСП & Рома Англичанин, polnalyubvi, Эрика Лундмоен, rooftops, Sedated and LUZBY. The agency continues to operate as a concert booking business, while its label and creative-association phase is generally regarded as having ended in 2020.
