Overview

Bomba Dischi is an Italian independent record label founded in Rome in 2012 by Davide Caucci. It began as a vehicle to support an emerging band, Boxerin Club, and quickly expanded its production activity to other artists such as Bamboo, Sadside Project and Adriano Viterbini. During this early phase, the label collaborated closely with the Rome-based communication agency Sporco Impossibile. At the end of 2015, Bomba Dischi gained national recognition thanks to the success of the single "Cosa mi manchi a fare" by Calcutta. In the following years, it contributed to the evolution of the Italian indie and pop music scene, with much of its output based on digital distribution. The label has worked with a wide range of Italian indie artists, including Calcutta, Pop X, Adriano Viterbini, Francesco De Leo, Psicologi, Ariete, Bnkr44, CLAVDIO, Giorgio Poi, Franco126, Carl Brave and Mèsa. In 2022, together with Gucci, the label produced an album dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini, titled Canzonette, containing five covers of Roman popular songs loved or written by Pasolini himself. Bomba Dischi remains active, releasing new music and organizing events such as the Sonido Bomba festival, which has expanded to international cities like Paris and Madrid.
