Bodensee-Oberschwaben-Bahn GmbH & Co. KG is a regional railway operator whose blue trains, nicknamed the 'Geißbockbahn', connect Friedrichshafen, Meckenbeuren, Ravensburg, Weingarten and Aulendorf. It has its own stop at Friedrichshafen Airport and an hourly connection at Friedrichshafen harbour station to the catamaran to Konstanz. Up to 1.5 million people use the blue trains each year, and its eight railcars run on 100% green electricity. The company is a GmbH & Co. KG whose shareholders include Technische Werke Friedrichshafen GmbH (27.5%), the City of Ravensburg (25%), Bodenseekreis district (20%), Ravensburg district (17.5%) and the municipality of Meckenbeuren (10%), with a share capital of 1,278,400 euros.

The Bodensee-Oberschwaben-Bahn operates blue trains nicknamed the 'Geißbockbahn' that run between Lake Constance and Upper Swabia, connecting Friedrichshafen, Meckenbeuren, Ravensburg, Weingarten and Aulendorf. The nickname is explained by the fact that the line runs on a section of the famous 'Schwab'sche Eisebahne'. The company is a GmbH & Co. KG with a share capital of 1,278,400 euros, held by Technische Werke Friedrichshafen GmbH (27.5%), the City of Ravensburg (25%), Bodenseekreis district (20%), Ravensburg district (17.5%) and the municipality of Meckenbeuren (10%). Additional financial backers include the City of Aulendorf, the City of Weingarten, and the municipalities of Baienfurt, Baindt, Berg, Fronreute and Wolpertswende, with substantial financial contributions also coming from the state of Baden-Württemberg for regional rail passenger transport. Magdalena Linnig has led the company as managing director since January 2024, also responsible for the 'Mobilität' division at Stadtwerk am See and simultaneously managing director of Stadtverkehr Friedrichshafen and Katamaran-Reederei Bodensee.
