OSHA proposes fine for Bob Evans Farms plant violations
OSHA cited the Lima plant of BEF Foods, operating as Bob Evans Farms, for two repeat machine-safety violations following an investigation into a worker's partial arm amputation, and proposed a fine of $136,532. OSHA said the investigation found the company failed to isolate the auger's energy during maintenance and did not train workers on required procedures.
