Blossman Gas is a family-owned propane company founded in 1951 by Woodrow "Woody" Blossman. It began with one office and one truck in Mississippi and has grown to over 75 branches, ranking as the 9th largest propane dealer in the country. The company provides residential and commercial propane services, including gas delivery, appliance installation and service, and propane tank installation.

Blossman Gas was founded in 1951 by Woodrow "Woody" Blossman, who moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast after his brother sold him propane stores in Gulfport and Pascagoula, Mississippi. In 1952, two new branch locations opened in Pascagoula and D'Iberville (Biloxi), Mississippi. By 1956, the company expanded services to the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast with offices in Gulfport, Pascagoula, Biloxi, and Bay St. Louis. In 1958, it expanded into Theodore, Alabama, and purchased Byrd Butane Co. in Sanford, North Carolina. By the end of the 1950s, Blossman had expanded to 9 locations. In 1960, it purchased Bowden Butane in Georgia. In 1965, Bob Mayer was hired as Treasurer and later became president. In 1969, John Blossman, son of Woodrow, joined the company as president, with Woodrow staying on as chairman of the board.
