Bitbau Dörr GmbH is an Austrian roofing and waterproofing firm. The company name follows a traditional German-language construction naming convention: "Bitbau" signals work with bitumen-based building materials and roofing systems, while "Dörr" is the family name associated with the business. Such firms are typically owner-managed, family-linked trade businesses rather than large industrial groups. The company operates in the Austrian building-envelope market. In this market, roofing contractors install and maintain waterproofing systems for flat and pitched roofs, including bitumen membranes, plastic membranes such as PVC and FPO/TPO, and liquid-applied waterproofing. Austrian practice in this field is shaped by standards such as ÖNORM B 3691, which sets out requirements for the planning and execution of roof waterproofing, and by European technical approvals for the materials used. Roofing and waterproofing contractors in Austria generally serve a regional catchment area around their base of operations, working on residential developments, commercial buildings and public projects. Their work is closely tied to the construction cycle and to the requirements of builders, housing associations and property owners. Publicly available information about Bitbau Dörr GmbH is sparse. The company is recorded as an Austrian business entity in Wikidata, and it maintains a website at bitbau-doerr.at. The supplied evidence does not include founding dates, ownership details, leadership names, employee figures or specific project references, so this dossier does not state them. The company should be regarded as an active Austrian trade contractor in the roofing and waterproofing segment.
