History

Biofuelwatch provides information and undertakes advocacy and campaigning in relation to the climate, biodiversity, land and human rights and public health impacts of large-scale industrial bioenergy. It is a small team of staff and volunteers based in Europe (including the UK) and the USA. Its work has recently been supported by grants from Bacon Foundation, BirdLife Europe and Central Asia, Ceres Trust, CS Fund/Warsh-Mott Legacy, Gecko Stiftung, NRDC, Packard Foundation, Patagonia Foundation, Threshold Foundation and Swift Foundation.
