Bidli Energie is the energy-supply arm of the Czech holding group Bidli, offering electricity and natural gas to households, companies and self-employed entrepreneurs across the Czech Republic. The history of Bidli Energie is inseparable from that of the wider Bidli group. According to the group's own account, the story begins in 2003, when Jiří Lejnar, then 25 years old, together with several classmates and enthusiasts started building the first mortgage office in Prague. From that small branch a strong brand in housing finance gradually emerged. Between 2003 and 2008 the Hypocentrum business established a strong position in housing finance and expanded its team and services. During the 2010–2018 period the group diversified: it founded a real estate company, an energy company and the financial advisory part of the group. In 2018 all activities were united under the Bidli brand, introducing the concept of complete services under one roof; a cooperative housing product was also created and financial advisory was significantly strengthened. This is the phase in which the energy business took shape as part of the group's broader housing ecosystem. Further expansion followed. In 2019 the Pozemky s garancí ("Land with Guarantee") platform and a team of in-house designers were established. In 2020–2021 the group launched the Bidli Technologie division and installed its first photovoltaic power plants, while the BIG Capital group was formed as the parent company for the financial and real estate brokerage businesses; the volume of intermediated loans exceeded CZK 20 billion per year. In 2022 the company Bidli finance a poradenství, s.r.o. was created to cover and simplify the provision of complete financial advisory services to clients, and the group obtained exclusive representation of the technology company LENERCOM. Within this structure, Bidli Energie operates as the group's electricity and gas supplier. It serves thousands of households and companies across the Czech Republic, describing itself as part of the investment group BIDLI holding a.s.
