Bi-Rite Creamery

Bi-Rite Creamery is part of the Bi-Rite Family of Businesses, which is led by second-generation owner Sam Mogannam and includes three neighborhood Markets, the Creamery, a catering company, and a small farm. The Creamery was started by two bakers who wanted to bring San Francisco perfectly balanced, delectably delicious treats in a responsible, sustainable way. It develops intensely flavored ice cream recipes featuring locally sourced ingredients and handmade inclusions, and offers scoops, handcrafted sundaes, popsicles, ice cream sandwiches, and order-ahead pints, cups, and ice cream cakes.

Bi-Rite Creamery was started by two bakers who wanted to bring San Francisco perfectly balanced, delectably delicious treats in a responsible, sustainable way. Their goal was to make you happy. The Creamery develops intensely flavored ice cream recipes that feature locally sourced ingredients, often highlighting the season's tastiest fruits like Masumoto Peaches, and handmade inclusions such as the almond toffee for Ritual Coffee Toffee and the chocolate cookies in the Cookies and Cream. The Creamery is part of the Bi-Rite Family of Businesses, which under the leadership of second-generation owner Sam Mogannam since 1998 has grown to include three neighborhood Markets, a world-renowned Creamery, a creative Catering company, and a small farm. Since Spring 2024, the company has its own grocery delivery app. The Bi-Rite family also includes 18 Reasons, a nonprofit community cooking school.
