Bensen

Bensen is a design and manufacturing group founded in 1981 by Niels Bendtsen. The company designs and oversees production of an extensive line of furnishings. Bensen furniture is designed in Canada and made in Italy to high standards, with a refined and minimalist design rooted in Italian tradition.

Bensen was founded in 1981 by Niels Bendtsen. Bendtsen was born in Denmark in 1943, emigrated to Canada in 1951, and opened his first retail store, Danet Interiors (now Inform Interiors) in 1963. In 1981, he founded Bensen to create high-quality pieces that are both affordable and elegant. Bensen furniture is designed in Canada and made in Italy.
