Beijing United Publishing Company

Beijing United Publishing Company (北京联合出版有限责任公司) is a publishing unit founded in July 1993. It is described as an integrated publishing enterprise covering book planning and publishing, electronic and audio-visual publishing, online operations, online and offline wholesale and retail, enterprise services, and planning. In 2011, as the former General Administration of Press and Publication and the Beijing Municipal People's Government approved the establishment of the China Beijing Publishing Creative Industry Park, the company completed its conversion into an enterprise and took on the task of building and operating the park's publishing service platform. Its product lines include social science and history, literature, children's books and parenting, and lifestyle books.

Beijing United Publishing Company was founded in July 1993. In 2011, the former General Administration of Press and Publication and the Beijing Municipal People's Government approved the establishment of the China Beijing Publishing Creative Industry Park; to address the channel issue for private publishing institutions in the park to participate in publishing and to strengthen standardized management and policy support, the company completed its conversion into an enterprise and, while maintaining its original publishing business, took on the task of building and operating the park's publishing service platform. The company states that since 2015 its book market share has ranked among the top three publishers nationwide for 11 consecutive years.
