Beau Sejour Leisure Centre

Beau Sejour Leisure Centre is Guernsey's only community leisure centre, located on the outskirts of St Peter Port. It was originally built in 1976 following a States of Guernsey directive to provide an affordable leisure facility, and was upgraded between 2001 and 2003. The centre is a division of the States of Guernsey Culture and Leisure Department and operates as a public leisure facility rather than a commercial chain. It offers a wide range of facilities including the only indoor 25-metre, 6-lane public pool in Guernsey, a 10-metre indoor learner pool, a gym and fitness studios under the BodyZone brand, sports halls, squash courts, outdoor tennis and netball courts, and outdoor football and softball pitches. It also houses Beau Cinema, described as Guernsey's biggest screen, and provides conference facilities, function rooms, meeting rooms, and a theatre/cinema venue for shows and live entertainment. The centre caters to all ages and abilities, with an annual footfall in the region of 600,000. It is a key community hub for sport, health, theatre and recreational activities in the island.
