Baxbier

Baxbier is a Dutch craft brewery and beer brand based in Groningen, founded in 2014 by two friends who turned a hobby into a business. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, the brewery opened its own facility in 2016. The company produces a wide core range of beers alongside numerous one-off, seasonal and collaboration brews, and is known for its hop-forward styles and playful branding. Its motto, 'Seriously Playful', reflects a serious approach to brewing technique paired with humour in naming and label design. Beers such as Kon Minder and Koudvuur have won international awards, and the brewery's products are distributed across the Netherlands. Baxbier operates a tasting room with a terrace on the Reitdiep in Groningen, hosts a large annual beer festival, and employs around 25 people. The brewery has a canning capacity of 5,000 cans per day and has expanded into non-alcoholic beer with its Kayak Non Alcoholic IPA.
