Base44 is an AI platform for building software applications — apps, websites, agents, backends, and games. Users describe what they need in plain language, and Base44 builds it, with database, auth, hosting, SEO/GEO optimization all included. The company was founded by Maor Shlomo, who built the platform to make building easy. Early days involved fast decisions and long nights, and the community grew before anyone planned for it. The momentum caught Wix's attention, and now with their support, Base44 is moving faster.
