Baoyin Special Materials Technology Co. (宝银特材) is a Chinese high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development and manufacture of critical tubes and products for nuclear power, thermal power, petrochemical, rail transit and aerospace fields. Its predecessor, Yixing Precision Steel Tube Factory, was founded in 1991, and the company was jointly invested and established by Baowu Group, China General Nuclear Power Group, Huaneng Group, Jiangsu High-Tech Investment, Yixing City Investment and Yinhuan Group. The company has undertaken multiple sub-topics of national major science and technology projects, and was the first in China to achieve localization of key tubes for supercritical and ultra-supercritical thermal power units and 690 U-shaped tubes for nuclear power, as well as the world's first to develop heat exchange assemblies for steam generators of fourth-generation high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear technology.
