BG prevent GmbH is a German provider of occupational medicine, workplace safety, corporate health promotion and prevention services. Until 30 June 2025 the company operated under the name BAD Gesundheitsvorsorge und Sicherheitstechnik GmbH; since 1 July 2025 it has traded as BG prevent GmbH. It is one of the largest providers of its kind in Germany, employing more than 3,500 people, including over 800 occupational physicians, and serving more than 210,000 companies, business sites and public institutions. The company was founded on 28 May 1976 as an association of German employers' liability insurance associations (Berufsgenossenschaften) under the name "Berufsgenossenschaftlicher Arbeitsmedizinischer Dienst". Its creation was prompted by the German Occupational Safety Act (Arbeitssicherheitsgesetz), which had come into force three years earlier and obliged companies to appoint company doctors and safety specialists and to establish an occupational safety committee. Over the following decades the organisation expanded its service portfolio from occupational medicine into safety engineering, prevention, environmental medicine and corporate health management. Today BG prevent offers a broad range of services organised around two main pillars: health and safety. On the health side, these include occupational medicine, prevention, corporate health management, company reintegration management, health checks, mental health, travel medicine and traffic medicine. On the safety side, they include occupational safety, fire protection, risk assessment, hazardous substances, explosion protection, inspections, radiation protection and safety and health protection coordination. The company also operates concada GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary founded in 2001 that focuses on continuing education and qualification in occupational safety. BG prevent is owned by eight Berufsgenossenschaften and Unfallkasse NRW. In 2022 the company generated revenue of around 297 million euros. Its headquarters are in Germany, and its primary market is Germany, with international activities having been conducted under the "Team-Prevent" label from 2001.

The company was founded on 28 May 1976 as an association of German employers' liability insurance associations (Berufsgenossenschaften) under the name "Berufsgenossenschaftlicher Arbeitsmedizinischer Dienst". In 1994 BAD Gesundheitsvorsorge und Sicherheitstechnik GmbH was founded. From 2001 the company was also active internationally under the name "Team-Prevent". Since 2004 the legal form has been a GmbH, replacing the association. Three years later, BAD GmbH took over responsibility for health management and parts of occupational safety for Deutsche Telekom AG. Since 1 July 2025 the company has operated under the name BG prevent GmbH. As of the 2020s, BG prevent GmbH serves more than 210,000 companies of different sizes and sectors in Germany with over 3,600 employees. In 2022 revenue was around 297 million euros. The company is owned by eight Berufsgenossenschaften and Unfallkasse NRW. concada GmbH, founded in 2001, is a wholly owned subsidiary.
