Azam Jaya Berhad

Azam Jaya Berhad is a Malaysian investment holding company incorporated on 16 June 2022 as Azam Jaya Sdn. Bhd. and converted into a public limited company on 27 June 2024. It provides construction services through its subsidiaries, with operations primarily based in Sabah, Malaysia. The Group's origins trace back to 1992, and it focuses on road infrastructure such as roads, highways, bridges, flyovers, tunnels, and interchanges.

Azam Jaya Berhad was incorporated in Malaysia on 16 June 2022 as a private limited company under the name Azam Jaya Sdn. Bhd. It was subsequently converted into a public limited company on 27 June 2024, adopting its current name. The Company operates as an investment holding entity, with its principal activity being the provision of construction services through its subsidiaries. Its operations are primarily based in Sabah, Malaysia. The Group's origins trace back to 1992 when Tan Sri Joseph acquired a 50% stake in Pembinaan AJ (formerly known as Zaramo Sdn Bhd) from his relatives. He later increased his shareholding to 75% in 1994. Since then, the Group has successfully completed numerous road infrastructure projects across Sabah. Today, the Group comprises four subsidiaries: Pembinaan Azam Jaya Sdn Bhd, Azam Jaya Land Sdn Bhd, Azam Jaya Properties Sdn Bhd and Kolopis Jaya Sdn Bhd. Each subsidiary is registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) of Malaysia as a Grade 7 contractor.
