History

Auf!Keinen!Fall! was founded in 2015 by Patrick Thiede, a former member of the hip-hop trio Hammer & Zirkel. The label's first signing was Thiede's friend Liquit Walker. In April 2015, the label secured a distribution deal with Chapter One, a subsidiary of Universal Music founded in 2014 by Ramin Bozorgzadeh (formerly of Groove Attack). Subsequently, the label announced the signing of Mason Family, Tamas, and 187 Strassenbande. The label's first release was the Mason Family album E.M.I.M. on 29 May 2015, followed by LX and Maxwell's album Obststand, which became the label's first top-ten album in the German music charts and its first chart success overall. In July, Liquit Walker's EP Letzte Träne (Mowgli EP) was released. Gzuz's album Ebbe & Flut was also successful in 2015. Next, the rap crew AK Ausserkontrolle was signed, and their debut album also charted. In January 2016, Tamas's solo debut followed, before the second collaborative album by Gzuz and Bonez MC, High & hungrig 2, was released on 27 May 2016. The album competed with Farid Bang's album Blut on its release day, pushing it to number 2, and became the label's first number-one hit. From 23 June 2016, Berlin rapper Capital Bra was also signed to the label, and on 3 February 2017 he released his second overall but first album with Auf!Keinen!Fall!. On 9 September 2016, AKF, together with Indipendenza, released the album Palmen aus Plastik, which reached number one in Germany and Switzerland. In December 2016, Palmen aus Plastik and High & hungrig 2 achieved gold status in Germany. The singles Ohne mein Team, Palmen aus Plastik, and Mörder also reached gold. In February 2017, the album Palmen aus Plastik was certified gold in Austria. Later, the singles Palmen aus Plastik and Ohne mein Team achieved double platinum and diamond status in Germany, respectively, and in April 2017 the album reached platinum status. With Palmen aus Plastik, Bonez MC and RAF Camora, along with AKF, won the 1 Live Krone award. In July 2017, the label ended its collaboration with AK Ausserkontrolle, who had released their second album A.S.S.N. via AKF in May of that year and then moved to Bushido's label ersguterjunge. The 187 Strassenbande also left the label in 2017. The album Blyat by Capital Bra, released on 29 September 2017, was also his last album via AKF. The label effectively ceased operations after 2017.
