Overview
ATF Press is an Australian independent publisher specialising in theology and religious studies. Established in 1993, it built a backlist of more than 400 titles spanning biblical studies, church history, Christology, church and society, Dominican, Jesuit, Anglican and Protestant theology, ecumenism, church law, spirituality, ethical and social issues, Australian First Nations theology, and Asian and African theologies. The publisher is now an imprint of Amsterdam University Press (AUP). Under the AUP umbrella, ATF Press focuses on establishing new series, publishing cutting-edge research from the global theology and religious studies community, and fostering open, tolerant and modern discourse. Its catalogue is available in print (softcover and hardcover), e-pub and PDF formats. Until 30 November, customers could purchase ATF Press titles through the existing channels; after that date, purchases, new titles and new proposals are directed to the AUP website. ATF Press organises its list under several imprints that characterise the range of its publications. The publisher acknowledges and respects the traditional custodians of the ancestral lands on which it meets, and the deep attachment and relationship of Aboriginal peoples to country.
