Association of Information and Documentation Professionals

The Association des professionnels de l'information et de la documentation (ADBS) presents itself through its website as a professional body serving information and documentation professionals. Its site highlights an online training catalogue with a 2027 schedule, training areas covering artificial intelligence, communication, monitoring, and information management, a job and internship listings section, a member directory, a membership form, and its I2D journal. The site also lists events and webinars, including sessions on documentary centres, health information and disinformation, and detecting AI-generated content.

The available evidence consists of the ADBS website homepage, which presents the association's current activities rather than a historical narrative. The site describes an online training catalogue with a 2027 schedule and training areas including artificial intelligence, communication, monitoring, and information management. It also references a mid-year review of the association's actions for the first half of the year, a member profile and connection section, and direct access to job and internship listings, the training catalogue, the member directory, the membership form, and the I2D journal. An events agenda lists items dated 2026, including a session on Heimlane Vault, an I2D dossier on the evolution of documentary centres with Marina Rennesson, a session on health information and disinformation, a visit to the LexisNexis library, a session on detecting AI-generated content, and a documentary portal on SharePoint.
