Armagnac Delord

Armagnac Delord is a family Armagnac house whose story began in 1893, when travelling distiller and cellar master Prosper Delord took his alambic from farm to farm, transforming white wine into Armagnac. In 1932 Prosper's sons Gaston and Georges started the Armagnac house Delord Freres in Lannepax, selling Bas-Armagnacs from Gascony to the United States. The house offers blends from three years to more than thirty years, along with vintage Armagnacs.

The Armagnac Delord story started in 1893, when Prosper Delord, a travelling distiller and cellar master, took his alambic from farm to farm, transforming white wine into Armagnac. In 1932, Prosper's sons Gaston and Georges started the Armagnac house Delord Freres in Lannepax; as producers, distillers and traders, they gradually sold their Bas-Armagnacs from Gascony to the United States. In 1963, Jacques, the oldest son of Gaston, continued the Armagnac adventure, and in 1973 Pierre joined his older brother and together they ran the family business. In 2001, Sylvain and Jérôme, Jacques' two sons, formed a new fraternity in the company; one noses, tastes and blends, and the other is skilled in the art of its promotion. In 2020, Jérôme and Sylvain bought the family estate, comprising 75 hectares of organic land (including 5 hectares of vines), a manor house, an ageing cellar and outbuildings.

  All the typicality of Maison Delord, with great aromatic richness.

• Armagnac 20 years

  With aromas of dried fruits and vanilla, this Armagnac will amaze you on the palate with its notes of sweet spices (cinnamon, vanilla), its woodiness and its rancio.

• Armagnac 25 years

  Elegant on the nose, with its peppery and spicy notes, it is on the palate that it reveals all its complexity.

• Armagnac XO Premium

  Born from the blend of Armagnacs aged between 25 and 45 years, this blend expresses its richness and power with delicious gourmet notes.

• Armagnac l'Authentique

  The Authentic Delord is a blend of very old Armagnacs born from the selection of different barrels representing, in our eyes, the most typical vintages of our House.

• Armagnac Création

  Each year, Sylvain selects several cask-strength vintages to develop the new “Création”, sold in a limited series.

• Vintage Armagnacs

  From 1900 to the present day, our “Paradise” contains carboys that protect our oldest vintage Armagnacs.
