Overview
Arigraf Milano (Arigrafmilano) is an Italian non-profit cultural association dedicated to graphology research, training and professional practice. It was established in 1993 as the Milan branch of Arigraf, the Associazione di Ricerca Grafologica founded in Rome in 1981. Arigraf is the corresponding group of the Société Française de Graphologie of Paris, with branches worldwide, and a founding member of the Association Déontologique Européenne de Graphologues. On 11 May 2001, by notarial deed, Arigrafmilano became an autonomous association while retaining the name, characteristics and approach of Arigraf. The association organises three-year training programmes in graphology following the European method, leading to the title of graphologist, which authorises professional practice or further specialisation in areas such as selection, training and career guidance; school guidance and counselling; education of the graphic gesture; judicial handwriting expertise; collaboration with psychologists and psychotherapists; and support in family and couple therapy. Its programmes are recognised by the Associazione Grafologi Professionisti (A.G.P.) and the Société Française de Graphologie (S.F.D.G.). The training courses held in 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 were recognised by the M.I.U.R. (Ministry of Education, Universities and Research) under Ministerial Directive 170/2016. For the high quality and professionalism of its courses, Arigrafmilano has held the UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 certificate for many years. Arigrafmilano carries out numerous activities, often in collaboration with other scientific and cultural bodies, and promotes congresses, meetings, seminars and publications. It publishes the journal Stilus, devoted to written communication, and offers continuing education and specialisation paths, including a specialisation course in judicial handwriting expertise and a course in education of the graphic gesture. The association is based in Milan and communicates with members and the public through its website, newsletter and secretariat.
History
Arigraf Milano traces its origins to Arigraf, the Associazione di Ricerca Grafologica founded in Rome in 1981. Arigraf is the corresponding group of the Société Française de Graphologie of Paris, with branches worldwide, and a founding member of the Association Déontologique Européenne de Graphologues. In 1993, Arigraf established its Milan branch, Arigrafmilano, to extend its graphology research and training activities in northern Italy. On 11 May 2001, by notarial deed, Arigrafmilano became an autonomous association while retaining the name, characteristics and approach of Arigraf. As a non-profit cultural association, it has since carried out numerous activities, often in collaboration with other scientific and cultural bodies, and has promoted congresses, meetings, seminars and publications. The association organises three-year training programmes in graphology according to the European method, leading to the title of graphologist, which authorises professional practice or further specialisation in areas such as selection, training and career guidance; school guidance and counselling; education of the graphic gesture; judicial handwriting expertise; collaboration with psychologists and psychotherapists; and support in family and couple therapy. Its programmes are recognised by the Associazione Grafologi Professionisti (A.G.P.) and the Société Française de Graphologie (S.F.D.G.). Arigrafmilano publishes the journal Stilus, devoted to written communication, and offers continuing education and specialisation paths, including a specialisation course in judicial handwriting expertise and a course in education of the graphic gesture. It also organises conferences, such as the 2023 conference on fakes in artworks. The association is based in Milan and communicates with members and the public through its website, newsletter and secretariat.
