Aquis Exchange Europe

Aquis Exchange Europe (AQEU) is the EU-regulated multilateral trading facility operated by Aquis Exchange, a creator and facilitator of next-generation financial markets providing stock exchanges, trading venues and technology. Aquis is part of SIX, the provider and operator of infrastructure for the Swiss and Spanish (BME) financial centres. Aquis Markets, the division encompassing Aquis Exchange Europe, operates lit and dark order books, periodic auctions and Europe's largest alternative closing auction service, covering 16 European markets, and uses a subscription pricing model charging users according to message traffic rather than a percentage of traded value.

Aquis Exchange ("Aquis") is a creator and facilitator of next-generation financial markets, through the provision of accessible, simple and efficient stock exchanges, trading venues and technology. Aquis is part of SIX, the provider and operator of stable and efficient infrastructure for the Swiss and Spanish (BME) financial centres. Aquis consists of three divisions: Aquis Markets, Aquis Technologies and Aquis Stock Exchange. Aquis Markets is a subscription-based exchange offering pan-European cash equities trading, described as now the 7th largest equities exchange in Europe. It operates lit and dark order books, periodic auctions, and Europe's largest alternative closing auction service, covering 16 European markets. For its lit books, Aquis uses a subscription pricing model which works by charging users according to the message traffic they generate, rather than a percentage of the value of each stock that they trade. Aquis Markets operates pan-European MTFs and related services, including two MTFs: AQXE (UK regulated) and AQEU (EU regulated), as well as Market Data Services. Aquis Exchange Europe corresponds to the EU-regulated MTF, AQEU.
