OpenTable policy and reservation-resale dispute
In October 2022, Bern’s Steak House announced that its reservation-software provider, OpenTable, was investigating Appointment Trader because OpenTable’s policies prohibited resale of reservations. Appointment Trader responded that it did not use OpenTable or a similar system to sell reservations.
Scalping concerns and customer-service complaints
