APB Resources Berhad and its subsidiaries (APB Group) are involved in investment holding and fabrication of specialized design process equipment for the petrochemical industry, oleochemical industry, oil and gas industry, power industry, as well as food and beverage industry. The group's corporate structure includes Era Julung Sdn. Bhd., Amalgamated Metal Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd., and Era Naqi Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Its subsidiary Amalgamated Metal Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd. (AMC), incorporated in 1982, provides engineering fabrication and contracting services, including complete turnkey projects, and manufactures process equipment for the petroleum, power, chemical, edible oil and other process industries.

(AMC) was incorporated in 1982 and has since developed its engineering fabrication and contracting services to offer complete turnkey projects. AMC is an ASME stamp holder for U, U2 and S since 1997, obtained its Chinese Safety Quality License in June 2002, and received ISO 9001-2000 certification by Lloyds Register in September 2004. Its plant facilities in Subang, Kuala Lumpur and Kuantan, Pahang are registered pressure equipment manufacturers by the Malaysian DOSH. AMC manufactures process equipment from carbon steel to exotic materials such as incoloy, inconel, monell, hastelloy and high chrome nickel alloys for the petroleum, power, chemical, edible oil and other process industries, and markets its products and services locally and internationally.
