Annin Flagmakers

Annin Flagmakers is an American flag manufacturer commonly described as one of the oldest flag-making businesses in the United States. It has been associated with flag production since 1847 and serves demand for U.S. flags, state flags, military flags, and other institutional or custom flags. The brand is positioned around American manufacturing, traditional craftsmanship, and established flag-making practices. The available materials are insufficient to confirm its current ownership, headquarters, international markets, or recent operating details.

Annin Flagmakers traces its history to 1847 and has remained focused on manufacturing flags and related flag products. Its core business centers on the U.S. flag, with additional offerings associated with state flags, military flags, institutional flags, and custom flags. The brand’s historical positioning is based primarily on its long operating history, specialization in flag manufacturing, and association with American production traditions. Beyond its founding year and long-standing focus on flag production, the available materials do not reliably document successive managers, plant changes, ownership developments, or major business turning points, so no further chronology is provided.
