Animals Matter

Animals Matter® is a family-founded American luxury companion comfort brand, established in California in 2002. It designs and hand crafts luxury dog beds, patented dog car seats, and refined comfort pieces, with much of the cutting, sewing, filling, and finishing completed in its own Palm Springs, California manufacturing facility. The brand offers products such as orthopedic dog beds, calming dog beds, dog car seats, and more, sold direct to consumer in the United States.

Animals Matter® was founded in Los Angeles in 2002 by Nancy Kline and Scott Avera, who left careers in the pharmaceutical industry. The idea came from a rescue dog adopted in downtown Los Angeles, and the realization that no bed on the market matched the quality of home furnishings. Manufacturing began in South Los Angeles, and the brand grew into a complete house of comfort. Later, design, development, and manufacturing moved to a Palm Springs facility. Today, the brand offers its products 100% direct to consumer in the United States.
