ANA Chubu Airport Co., Ltd. (abbreviated NGOAP) is a Japanese airport ground-handling company and a member of the ANA Group. It is headquartered in the 2nd Centrair Building at Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture. The company was established on April 15, 1991, originally as an ANA Group airport handling company at Nagoya Airport in Komaki. When Centrair opened on February 17, 2005, NGOAP relocated its operations there and became the airport's handling company. NGOAP's core business is comprehensive ground handling at Centrair: passenger handling, cargo and ground handling, and operation control for ANA flights and for other airlines that contract with the ANA Group. Its clients include ANA Group carriers such as All Nippon Airways, ANA Wings, IBEX Airlines, StarFlyer, Solaseed Air, and AIRDO, as well as international airlines including Asiana Airlines, Lufthansa, Etihad Airways, Atlas Air, Spring Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, EVA Air, and T'way Air. The company handles approximately 12,000 international flights and 40,000 domestic flights annually. NGOAP is a subsidiary of ANA Holdings Inc., with additional shareholders including Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd., ANA Narita Airport Services Co., Ltd., and ANA Kansai Airport Co., Ltd. The close relationship with Nagoya Railroad stems from the era when Nagoya Railroad served as ANA's general sales agent at Nagoya Airport. The company's mission is to support ANA Group operations at Centrair and to contribute to the development of the Chubu region, Japan, and the world. Its management vision is to become "an unshakable presence supporting the ANA Group through airport handling beyond boundaries." NGOAP emphasizes safety, high-quality service, employee growth, and ESG management, including carbon neutrality and contributions to the SDGs.
History
ANA Chubu Airport Co., Ltd. was established on April 15, 1991, and began operations on June 1, 1991, as an ANA Group airport handling company at Nagoya Airport in Komaki, Aichi Prefecture. At that time, it provided ground handling services for ANA and other airlines using Nagoya Airport. The company had a close relationship with Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd., a private railway company in the Chubu region, which had served as ANA's general sales agent at Nagoya Airport and became a shareholder of the new company. In the early 2000s, plans were made to open a new international airport in the Chubu region. On February 17, 2005, Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) opened in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture. ANA Chubu Airport relocated its operations to Centrair to coincide with the opening and became the airport's handling company. The company's headquarters moved to the 2nd Centrair Building at 1-1 Centrair, Tokoname. After the move to Centrair, the company continued to expand its client base. It handles ANA Group airlines such as All Nippon Airways, ANA Wings, IBEX Airlines, StarFlyer, Solaseed Air, and AIRDO, as well as international carriers including Asiana Airlines, Lufthansa, Etihad Airways, Atlas Air, Spring Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, EVA Air, and T'way Air. Some airlines that were previously handled, such as AirAsia X, ceased to be clients after the move to Centrair. During the Nagoya Airport era, the company also handled Nakanihon Airline Service and Air Koryo, but those contracts ended. As of February 1, 2026, the company had 896 employees. Its capital is 50 million yen. For the fiscal year 2017, sales were 6.488 billion yen. The company is a subsidiary of ANA Holdings Inc., with additional shareholders Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd., ANA Narita Airport Services Co., Ltd., and ANA Kansai Airport Co., Ltd. The representative director and president is Soshi Hanada. The company's mission is to comprehensively handle aircraft operations at the airport, supporting the movement of people and cargo in the Chubu region, Japan, and the world. Its management vision is to become "an unshakable presence supporting the ANA Group through airport handling beyond boundaries." It emphasizes safety, high-quality service, employee growth, and ESG management, including carbon neutrality and contributions to the SDGs. In March 2026, it was certified as a 2026 Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (White 500).
