The available material confirms only its name, regional association, and role as a wrestling promotion; reliable information is insufficient to establish its founding date, founders, organizational history, venues, or relationship to other organizations with the same name. Because “American Wrestling Association” may also refer to similarly named promotions from other periods or regions, this entry does not make further claims about its history or present status.

Reliable material is currently insufficient to reconstruct the full history of American Wrestling Association (Boston). The name identifies a professional wrestling promotion associated with Boston rather than a conventional consumer brand. Because other wrestling organizations may have used the same or a similar name, information about other American Wrestling Associations should not be merged into this entry without reliable sources.
