Alliance VITA

Alliance VITA presents itself as "Solidaires des plus fragiles" and works to raise public awareness of bioethics issues, offering training such as the Université de la vie, conferences, and bioethics news analysis, as well as Campus VITA for young people. Its members carry out information and dialogue actions with the general public on bioethics subjects and regularly meet local actors, media and decision-makers. Alliance VITA also runs listening services — SOS Bébé, SOS Fin de vie and Thadeo — offering a space to speak without judgment for people facing life's trials around pregnancy, end of life, dependency and bereavement.

Alliance VITA describes its commitment, as an organization in solidarity with the most fragile, as rooted in the action of its listening services close to human suffering. It states that it aims to awaken consciences to bioethics issues and to foster reflection anchored in daily life, and that its teams organize and lead numerous training sessions to inform the public, including the Université de la vie, conferences, and analyses of bioethics news. It also offers tailored interventions and Campus VITA dedicated to young people, with a preference for dialogue and information. Its members carry out information and dialogue actions with the general public on bioethics subjects and regularly meet local actors, media and decision-makers.

• Université de la vie

  A training initiative organized and led by Alliance VITA teams to inform the public on bioethics.

• Campus VITA

  Tailored interventions and a campus dedicated to young people, favoring dialogue and information.

• SOS Bébé

  A listening service for women and people facing difficult situations around pregnancy and maternity: unexpected or difficult pregnancy, announcement of a handicap, miscarriage, abortion, perinatal bereavement, post-abortion malaise, infertility.

• SOS Fin de vie

  A listening service dedicated to people facing end of life: relatives of patients and caregivers, people experiencing bereavement or concerned by suicide.

• Thadeo

  A listening service for caregivers facing difficulties in their professional practice: exhaustion, guilt or ethical questions; listening is provided by caregivers.
