Allard Motor Company

Allard Motor Company was a British automobile manufacturer and marque founded in the 1940s by racing driver and engineer Sydney Allard. It built on the Allard family's earlier experience in producing and modifying performance cars, concentrating on small-volume sports and racing automobiles. The company's distinctive formula combined British-designed bodies and chassis with large American engines, including V8 powerplants. Allard cars competed in British and international racing and rally events, while some models were also sold for road use.
