Aldi Bio

Aldi Bio generally refers to branding used within Aldi’s retail system for organic food and related products. The goods are sold through Aldi stores and form part of the retailer’s private-label offering. Because Aldi’s operations in Germany and other markets are divided between the independently operated Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd groups, the name, product range, certification marks and supply arrangements may vary by market. The available information is insufficient to establish Aldi Bio as a separate company with a single founding date, founder, headquarters or legal owner, or to provide a complete product catalogue.

Aldi Bio is not established by the available material as a separate company with an independent corporate history; rather, it is associated with organic-product branding within the Aldi retail system. Aldi, a discount retail group originating in Germany, sells food and household goods through private labels in multiple markets, with the relevant Aldi operating entity and its suppliers responsible for the products associated with Aldi Bio. Since Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd operate as independent organizations, the use of the name, product assortment and organic-certification requirements may differ by market. Reliable information sufficient to confirm a specific launch year, founding entity, product-development history or unified operating scope is not available, so no further chronology is inferred.
