ALBATROS Engineering GmbH

ALBATROS Engineering GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer of special-purpose machinery based in Austria and active since 1992. The company describes itself as a dynamic enterprise with a team of around 20 employees, specialising in innovative solutions for special winches and pipe access systems that are particularly in demand in the power-plant and mining industries. It also develops and manufactures customised solutions for aircraft production lines (for example for Airbus) as well as for the steel and construction industries. The product portfolio centres on four main lines: truck tyre washing plants, winches and access systems, bridge inspection vehicles, and crane runway systems. Albatros presents itself as the European market leader for truck tyre washing plants and as the market leader for tyre washing plants in Austria. Its winches and access systems are marketed as the safest means of transporting people and materials. Bridge inspection vehicles are planned, supplied and installed individually according to customer project requirements, while the patented Albatros crane runway system is promoted as flexible, robust and economical. As a full-service provider, Albatros accompanies customers from the planning phase through the development of a tailored concept to delivery and commissioning of the machines. It also offers comprehensive maintenance services for all products it manufactures, ensuring they continue to function optimally. The company's engineering focus on special machinery, combined with its niche leadership in tyre washing and winch technology, positions it as a specialised industrial supplier rather than a mass-market producer.
