Overview
Alacrity Education is a youth-founded NGO in Romania, created by young people for young people, aiming to promote high-quality STEAM education through hands-on activities and open-source projects.
History
Alacrity started as an informal group at an NGO accelerator organized by The National Youth Foundation (FNT) in August 2024. It acquired NGO status in December 2024. Its first project, Alacrity AirBox, was accepted and sponsored by FNT. In early 2025, AirBox courses took place over 4 weeks in online and on-site scenarios. The organization obtained sponsorships from Bambu Lab, Adonstar, and UNI-T, and secured a building in central Bucharest.
