Akros Pharma Inc.

Akros Pharma Inc. is a small, dynamic company dedicated to the development of new pharmaceutical products for the US and global market. It is one of the US locations of Shionogi & Co., Ltd., a Japanese pharmaceutical company. The company was established on January 5, 1999, in San Mateo, California, and relocated to Princeton, New Jersey in 2000. Its current development focus includes therapeutics for autoimmune diseases, type 2 diabetes, chronic heart failure, neurodegenerative diseases, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and peripheral artery disease.

Akros Pharma Inc. was established on January 5, 1999, in San Mateo, California. In 2000, Akros relocated to a new office in Princeton, New Jersey. Since December 1st, 2025, we have been one of the US locations of SHIONOGI.
