History

The company's original purpose was to carry out aerial sprays on crops for agricultural production. Between 1972 and 1978, the company extensively engaged in this business in Pakistan but was also contracted for their services in Oman and Sudan between 1977 and 1985. At this time, its fleet was comprised of the Piper Pawnee PA-25 and the Fletcher FU-24. ASSL, as it is now known today, was formally established in 1975, with the purpose of acting as a distributor for various aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus SE, Piper Aircraft Inc., Fairchild Corporation and Pacific Aerospace Ltd.
