Agro-Kanesho

Agro-Kanesho (officially Kabushiki Kaisha Kanesho Toji) is a Japanese ceramics company founded in 1946 by Takeuchi Masami. It designs, manufactures, and sells children's tableware, general tableware, fancy goods, and daily necessities. The company is known for producing character-themed tableware, including licensed items such as Miffy, Doraemon, Hello Kitty, Anpanman, Snoopy, Pokémon, Mickey Mouse, and Disney characters. It operates a children's ceramics museum called Kids Land at its headquarters.

The company was founded in 1946 by Takeuchi Masami as a ceramics wholesale business in Tajimi City. It began in-house production in 1952, was established as a limited company in 1953, and changed its name to Kanesho Toji in 1957. It started producing character tableware in 1959 with 'Akado Suzunosuke' and later licensed many popular characters. It became a stock company in 1990 and has continued to expand its product lines.
