Overview
Affri Testing Instruments (ATI) is a global provider of hardness testers and measuring systems, offering a complete range of products for Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, Knoop, Shore, and Universal hardness testing methods, conforming to ASTM and ISO standards. The company was founded in 1964 by Giovanni Affri, who began designing hardness testers in the 1960s. It also provides metallographic preparation and microscopic image analysis equipment, as well as certified master hardness test blocks through its ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory.
History
In the 1960s, Giovanni Affri began designing the first hardness testers and measuring instruments. In 1964, the family business was founded. In 1987, AFFRI COMMERCIALE was founded to promote and sell AFFRI products worldwide. In 2011, Roberto Affri opened AFFRI Inc. in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
