A2P operates open scholarly communication infrastructure supporting AfricArXiv and its other research dissemination and consultation services. Its repository infrastructure is implemented in collaboration with the Spanish-Mexican service provider eScire, a technical partner specialized in DSpace and Dataverse systems, ensuring reliable functionality, interoperability, and standards compliance. The infrastructure is hosted in Germany by WindCloud, whose carbon-negative datacenter combines wind-powered energy with algae-based carbon capture technology, aligning digital infrastructure with environmental sustainability principles. The organization engages with stakeholders across Higher Education, Research & Development, and Research and Innovation, with regional expertise covering various African countries, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the MENA region. It publishes a weekly newsletter and maintains partnerships, such as a strategic partnership with ScienceOS, an AI-powered research platform committed to transparent and researcher-controlled workflows.
