ABC-CLIO

ABC-CLIO is an American academic and educational publishing business headquartered in Santa Barbara, California. It develops reference books, scholarly monographs, periodicals, online databases, and digital curriculum resources for schools, colleges, universities, public libraries, and research institutions. Its strongest subject areas are history, the humanities, social sciences, librarianship, and related professional fields. ABC-CLIO was founded in 1955 by Eric Boehm as a privately held publisher specializing in historical bibliographic services.
