JINYU Tire

JINYU Tire Group, founded in 1995, is a professional R&D company and quality manufacturing enterprise in the tire industry. It employs more than 6,000 people worldwide and operates three plants — two in China and one in Vietnam — with an annual production capacity of 10 million TBR and 4 million PLT tires, and a planned overall PLT capacity of 10 million units. The company has sales centers in North America, Europe, Vietnam and other countries, and its network covers more than 100 countries including the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Its history traces back to the establishment of Gugangtong Rubber in 1995, with the Jinyu Tire brand registered in 1998 and the Jinyu Tire Group founded in 2010.

JINYU Tire's history began in 1995 with the establishment of Gugangtong Rubber, the predecessor of Jinyu. In 1996 the first bias tire was released, and in 1998 Jinyu Tire was registered and established under the management principle "Quality for Survival". In 2000 the company obtained the IM&EP certificate and started its international journey, and in December of that year it was reformed into "Jinyu Tire Co.Ltd". In 2001 it invested in a TBR plan, which came on stream in 2002, and the first TBR tire was released in 2003. The Jinyu mascot JIMI was born in 2004. In 2007 a strategic decision was made to stop production of bias tires. In 2009 the company earned a spot on the Top 50 of Global Tire Businesses, and in 2010 Jinyu Tire Group was founded. In 2016 TBR plant output broke through 3 million tires. In 2019 the company prepared its first overseas plant and built USA & EU sales centers. In 2020 the first overseas plant in Vietnam broke ground with an investment of more than USD$320 million, and in 2021 the first TBR was released in the Vietnam plant with a 2 million pcs designed program.
