Overview

Manycore Tech (群核科技) is a Chinese software company best known for its cloud-based 3D spatial design platforms, marketed in China as Kujiale (酷家乐) and internationally as Coohom. Founded in Hangzhou in 2011 by a group of technology entrepreneurs led by Huang Xiaohuang, the company set out to move interior and home-furnishing design from heavy desktop CAD tools to browser-based, GPU-accelerated cloud rendering. Designers, home-furnishing brands, and renovation contractors use its platform to produce photorealistic renderings, generate bills of materials, and collaborate with clients in real time. The company's core offering is a SaaS design environment that combines a large library of 3D furniture and material models with fast cloud rendering and, more recently, AI-assisted design and image generation features. Its customer base spans individual designers and small studios through to large home-furnishing and real-estate enterprises, and it has expanded into adjacent areas such as e-commerce product visualization and industrial/product design. Manycore Tech is a Chinese company headquartered in Hangzhou, with an international presence through the Coohom brand serving overseas designers and manufacturers. It has been backed by venture and growth investors and has pursued a public listing in Hong Kong, positioning itself as a vertical SaaS and design-technology platform rather than a pure consumer internet company. Its market positioning rests on the combination of cloud-native 3D rendering, a very large model and material library, and workflow tools tailored to the home-furnishing and renovation supply chain — a niche where it competes with desktop design software incumbents and newer AI design tools.

History

Manycore Tech was founded in Hangzhou in 2011 by a team of technology entrepreneurs led by Huang Xiaohuang, who had backgrounds in computer graphics and GPU computing. The founding thesis was that interior design and home-furnishing visualization could be delivered as a cloud service: instead of installing heavy desktop rendering software, designers would open a browser, drag in 3D models, and receive photorealistic images rendered on remote GPU clusters. The company launched its Kujiale (酷家乐) platform for the Chinese market, building out a large library of furniture, fixtures, and material models so that designers could assemble rooms quickly and produce client-ready renderings within minutes. As the platform gained traction among interior designers, renovation companies, and home-furnishing brands, Manycore Tech added workflow features such as automatic bill-of-materials generation, quotation tools, and collaboration functions that connected design output to manufacturing and sales. International expansion came through the Coohom brand, which offers a localized version of the design platform to designers, retailers, and manufacturers outside China. The company also extended its rendering and 3D visualization technology into adjacent use cases, including e-commerce product imagery and industrial design. In the 2020s Manycore Tech added AI-assisted capabilities — including generative design and image tools — to its platform, responding to the broader shift toward AI in creative software. The company has raised venture and growth financing from investors and has worked toward a public listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, presenting itself as a vertical SaaS provider serving the home-furnishing and spatial design economy.
