Overview

Systex Corporation (精誠資訊) is a Taiwanese information-technology services group headquartered in Taipei. It is best known as one of Taiwan's largest systems integrators, providing enterprise customers with IT infrastructure integration, software distribution, cloud and data-center services, cybersecurity, and vertical industry solutions spanning finance, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and the public sector. The company operates as a group of subsidiaries and business units rather than a single product line. Its activities include value-added distribution of enterprise software and hardware, managed and outsourcing services, application development, and digital transformation consulting. Through its group companies, Systex has extended into areas such as financial technology, smart manufacturing, and data analytics, positioning itself as a local partner for global technology vendors entering the Taiwanese market. Systex is a publicly listed company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under ticker 6214. Its customer base is predominantly business-to-business, and its brand identity rests on long-standing relationships with Taiwanese enterprises and government institutions rather than consumer-facing products. The group has grown both organically and through acquisitions of local IT service providers, building a broad portfolio that covers consulting, integration, and ongoing operational support. In the market, Systex is positioned as a trusted domestic IT services partner that combines multinational vendor relationships with local delivery capability. Its brand is associated with enterprise reliability, breadth of integration expertise, and coverage across the Taiwanese IT ecosystem.

History

Systex Corporation was established in Taiwan in the late 1990s as an enterprise-focused IT services company. From its early years it concentrated on systems integration and the distribution of enterprise software, acting as a local channel and implementation partner for international technology vendors seeking to serve Taiwanese businesses. Over time the company expanded beyond pure integration into managed services, outsourcing, and application development, and it built dedicated practices for major vertical markets such as financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector. Growth was pursued both organically and through the acquisition and integration of smaller Taiwanese IT service providers, which allowed Systex to broaden its geographic and technical coverage. The group also diversified into adjacent areas including financial technology, data analytics, and smart-manufacturing solutions, reflecting the wider digital transformation of Taiwanese industry. Systex became a publicly listed company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under ticker 6214, giving it access to capital markets to fund expansion. Today Systex operates as a multi-subsidiary group and remains one of the most prominent domestic IT services brands in Taiwan, competing with both local integrators and the local arms of global consultancies and technology vendors.

Combined with its existing 11.86% stake, reaching the minimum threshold would give Taiwan Mobile over 50% and control of Systex; at the 58% cap total ownership would reach about 69.86% and total consideration would exceed NT$29.1 billion. The offer period is expected to run from August 18 to October 6, 2026, conditional on at least 39% of shares being tendered and the Fair Trade Commission not prohibiting the combination.
