Luso International Banking is a Macau commercial bank founded in 1974, with its head office at the Luso International Banking Building at 47 Avenida Doutor Mário Soares in Macau. In 1985 it participated, through asset injection, in the establishment of Xiamen International Bank, the first Sino-foreign joint venture bank, and became its wholly owned subsidiary. In 2015 the bank completed a capital increase and share expansion, becoming a Macau local bank mainly backed by Macau capital. In 2024, on its 50th anniversary, it increased capital again, further strengthening its capital base.
