Austar Hearing (欧仕达听力科技（厦门）有限公司) was founded in 2003 and is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production and sales of hearing aids and related acoustic products, aiming to improve hearing for people with hearing loss through technology. In 2019 it invested in building a production and R&D base in the Xiamen Haicang Pharmaceutical Industrial Park with an area of about 7,200 m². It states it has set up more than ten bases in the United States, Canada, Norway, Singapore and Thailand, and has over 3,500 agents and distributors worldwide. It obtained ISO13485, CE and U.S. FDA certifications through SGS, and formed an R&D team of experts from well-known universities at home and abroad, independently developing high-performance audio signal processing algorithms and obtaining multiple invention patents, utility model patents, software copyrights and design patents. It has established cross-border cooperation with onsemi, NXP Semiconductors, Intricon and Knowles Electronics. It built a professional reliability laboratory and a full anechoic chamber for acoustic testing and DSP algorithm development. Its published milestones include: in 2022, receiving the Fujian Province "specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative" enterprise title, launching the new 海蓝鲸 BTE series, and going live with the SAP system; in 2023, completing a million-yuan donation under "集善助残 出彩河南", participating in the Tencent seminar on AI hearing aid technology, appearing at the 2023 spring CMEF medical device exhibition, the China International Welfare Expo, the 2023 Beijing Audiology Conference and Germany's EUHA, and being included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2023 Elderly Products Promotion Catalog; in 2024, launching the 新悦声 series, the 星火 series and the O+ platform with a nationwide roadshow, appearing at Germany's EUHA, passing the 2024 national high-tech enterprise re-certification, and being selected for the 2024 Fujian Province age-friendly new products list, the 2024 Xiamen advanced manufacturing doubling plan enterprises and the 2024 Xiamen enterprise industrial design center; in 2025, being rated a Xiamen "specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative" enterprise for three consecutive years, selected as a Xiamen future industry backbone enterprise, included in the "smart health elderly care products and services promotion catalog" for three consecutive years, appearing at Germany's EUHA and the Beijing hearing exhibition, and holding nearly a hundred community lecture activities.
