Songlin Bookstore

Songlin Bookstore (松林書局) is an independent bookstore located on Guting Street in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is known as the earliest established second-hand bookstore on that street and as a witness to the rise and decline of the local old-book trade. The store operates as a small, privately run retail business rather than a chain or corporate brand. Its identity is closely tied to the historic bookshop cluster that once made Guting Street a well-known destination for used and antiquarian books in Taipei. The bookstore maintains a blog at songlingoldbook.blogspot.com, which serves as its online presence. Because it is a single-location independent shop, its product range consists of second-hand and old books, and its market is local. No founding year, founder name, or ownership details are provided in the available evidence, so those fields remain unspecified.
