PharmaEngine is a Taiwanese pharmaceutical company that began operations in February 2003, adopting a "Virtual Pharmaceutical Company Business Model" focused on new drug development through international strategic alliances. It focuses on cancer treatment. Its product ONIVYDE® is a liposomal formulation of a camptothecin-class anticancer drug developed using nanotechnology, used in the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer patients, and has been launched in the United States, Europe, and multiple major Asian countries. Its pipeline includes PEP07, a cell damage regulatory enzyme inhibitor in Phase I clinical trials, and PEP08, a PRMT5 inhibitor in Phase I clinical trials. The company is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.

PharmaEngine began operations in February 2003. The company was founded on the concept of international strategic alliances, using a "Virtual Pharmaceutical Company Business Model" focused on new drug development to reduce the risks of drug development. Leveraging its extensive experience in project management, PharmaEngine introduced and led multiple new drug projects, conducting (pre-)clinical research and subsequent commercialization development. In March 2023, the company was certified by the Ministry of Economic Affairs as a "Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Company."

• ONIVYDE®

  A liposomal formulation of a camptothecin-class anticancer drug developed using nanotechnology. It is a type I DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor that blocks the enzyme to inhibit cancer cell growth. Used in the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer patients, it has been launched in the United States, Europe, and multiple major Asian countries.
